Bailee is an accomplished pianist, so we thought she was good enough to play a piano without working keys. Ha ha. Okay, she didn’t really play it, but Bailee did look amazing in front of the custom piano we built for her senior photo shoot last spring! Bailee (now a class of 2012 graduate of Alexander High School) immediately inspired us when we met with her and her family to plan the details of her spring senior photo shoot in Douglasville, GA. Seeing how fun, creative, and musically talented she is, we knew she was the perfect “muse” for a themed shoot we had been thinking about ever since some friends asked us if we wanted their old piano with “no keys, no legs, and no top.” We had already photographed one of our 2012 models, Hayley, in front of an old organ earlier in the year, so we knew exactly where to find some keys to fit the piano skeleton! Using keys from the top and bottom of the organ, we were able to fill the empty space in the piano. Adding some wood scraps for the legs, we headed to the field with Bailee and the piano and created some of our favorite music-inspired photographs! Great job, Bailee, and good luck playing piano in college! (The pianos at her university might be a little easier to play than the one at her shoot)!
