Oh. Those. Eyes. Today is National Wear Red Day to raise awareness for heart disease in women, and 2014 Carrollton High School senior Hannah is one of our seniors with a very special heart- physically and metaphorically! They say that the eyes are the window to the soul, but with Hannah, we think that the eyes are the window to the heart. When she smiles with those beautiful, light blue eyes, you can just tell that she is sweet and fun! When Hannah showed up for her senior shoot, it started to rain- just a little at first, followed by a brief torrential downpour, and back to a more soft falling of water from the sky. We got no complaints from Hannah- instead of getting the “blues,” she put some rain boots on, grabbed an umbrella, and splashed around in a playful manner until her perfectly straightened hair turned to fun, drenched waves! After a little playing in the rain, we gave Hannah a rain check- and the next time we got her in front of the camera we had some happier skies to work with, including a beautiful sunset that complimented her shiny blue homecoming dress! That’s right- blue eyes, blue dress, but no “blues” over the first shoot’s weather! Of course, we had to keep the tradition going and incorporate some kind of water into her shoot, so we spent some time at the pool in front of the waterfall. Hannah, we had a blast with you- from the rain, to the pool, to the gorgeous fall colors in the leaves! Thanks for all the fun!
